The Mok Genre

Does anyone know that Mok Gar (the family of Mok) is one of the five major family styles of Southern Chinese martial arts? Mok, a not so common surname among the Chinese community, in Malaysia at least, has turned out to be a nickname of mine. Alongside Mok, Amok, Moky, Hong and Zyon are names emerged from Zi Hong, which is my formal name. =)

Now, to look INTO me to give a rundown of myself. I am 18 this year :D Obviously this is something to be glad of right? Bridging the gap between a teenager and a young adult, my days are energized by my ideas and hence full of passion and eagerness. However, this is not the first impression people had on me. To others, I might be shy. I might be quiet. But not until you know me deeply. *grin hehe* Ironically, I am someone who love exchanging smiles with people ~.* I love to make new friends, thought I am usually the passive one in any relationships at first. I love to foster good relationships with everyone, and it's easy to lose myself in the magic of close friendship.

By my early teens, two factors, that are conscience and outside pressure, caused me to review my lifestyle. How should I lead my future years? Should I be an average boy? Or should I be competitive enough to be ahead of people of my age? I was lucky enough to have superb parents, who gave me a secure background and who were ambitious for me to achieve success in life. They are my supporting poles, their words are motivating, and forever encouraging, to make me inclined to emulate a role model in academics since small. "About all some parents accomplish in life is to send a child to Harvard". They are certainly not this kind of parents, but I am glad for them that I had the chance to go to somewhere in UK to further my studies in pharmacy or pharmacology =)

However, my ambition is different from my dream. A concert-standard singer or pianist may sound insane, but yes that's my dream xD To sing as fluently, to express the composer's intentions as deeply, to receive the bouquet, to hear the thunderous applause, to acknowledge the standing ovation, to play a brilliant encore... I might sound vain, but I am not. Thanks to my parents again for the music background I received and the entertainment world outside, an artiste seems to be perfect in every aspects. Being a perfectionist, I hoped to be one, but I will have to struggle to make it real. So I had better stick to my ambition to be a pharmacist ^.^

Got tired of thinking, it's 12.27 am before i click 'publish post' for my assignment. Haha! Lastly, I would like to share about my motto, "where there is a will, there is a way". This might sound common but it has helped me to go through many challenges in my life. Just like this one, a shy and quiet person had never thought of writing so much about his inner side on his blog =P With this, hope u guys know more about me and explore for youself if u want to know more =) Good nite.

My first chapter in INTEC =)

Indeed, it's start of something new. Having to be a newcomer in INTEC, everything seems to be SHOCKINGLY new to me..

On 28 June 2009, 7 am, I, together with 7 friends of mine from Chung Ling High School, fearlessly but with much worries, stepped into our hostel which is known as Kolej Cendana. Don't ask me why my hostel is called a college. Our seniors don't know the answer either. And Intec itself is not a college but a faculty o.O

After the registration on Sunday, there goes the whole week of MMS (Minggu Mesra Siswa), it's fun, entertaining but tiring.. for that whole week we have to wake up at 5.30pm and sleep at 12.00am or even later =.= Special thanks to all the faci (short form for facilitators and not faeces) and pm (Pembantu Mahasiswa and not Perdana Menteri lol) for making the event so SUCCESFUL =)

My class officially started on 8 July 2009, i am in A Level Medicine 10M13, the LAST class haha =P In disbelief, my friendly new classmates greeted me once i entered the class ^.^ i never thought they would form the welcoming hands for me. Hiew is the one i know during MMS, and Nurzila (hopefully i spelt her name correctly hehe) is the 1st one i know in class *claps* Generally each n everyone who stood up to introduce themselves is nice and friendly and i am really really happy to be in this class =D

Livin' in my own world
Didn't understand
That anything can happen
When you take a chance
Well, basically that's a brief description of my first 2 weeks in Intec Uitm. This could be the start of something new. I started blogging because it's ORDERED by my new english teach miss syarifah haha. Cool right to have a teacher like this xD hopefully my days in Intec will be merrier and more interesing =) And finally, does anyone have medicine for homesick? For everyone in Penang, i miss you all a lot!
